Philips Officially Launches Fidelio Series of iPod/iPhone Docks

Today, Philips officially launched their new range of Fidelio iPhone/iPod Docks. We had actually noticed these docks popping up at the Apple stores for some time now – so it was interesting that Philips waited until now to officially announce their arrival in the marketplace. The Fidelio launch is just one piece of the puzzle of Philips massive global marketing campaign that joins together three well respected and award winning people from producers to composers. The campaign is being called “Obsessed with Sound” and the three people involved with Philips are Steven Lillywhite, Geoff Foster, and Benjamin Herman. The campaign features the three of them taking consumers through their reasons why they live and love sound, and how they are just like me and you and would expect nothing then perfection when listening to music or any sound for that matter. The Fidelio is just one piece of a larger framework that Philips is trying to market to consumers and truly show how obsessed they are with sound – just like their consumers.

It’s undeniable – there is a reason why Apple gave their blessing to the Fidelio line of iPhone/iPod docks from Philips. Each one has an Apple aesthetic that can’t be missed. Today we spent some time with the new docks listed below and each one is sporting a design and craftsmanship that would be good enough to compliment any Apple lover’s home.
