Typing might be “ergonomic” but looking at the screen while you are typing is definitely not; worse than using a laptop! And I’m not sure if touch-typing is possible being that there is no tactile feedback from the keyboard. A much better method would be to purchase a bluetooth keyboard compatible with the iPad and use this stand to prop up the iPad, like a monitor, while you type.

Just use a lap desk and you can flip it over and use either side. Cheap and versatile. Bean bag stuff on one side and hard board on the other.
