Paul Frank is obviously very aware of the success of their iPod/iPhone cases and even headphones, that the next logical step would be to make an iPod Dock. So of course it’s absolutely adorable and is in the shape of Julius and called the Julius Dance Machine. In between Julius’s hands rest the iPod in a cradle and according the the specs it will work with all generations of iPod’s, so sadly it seems there is no mention of iPhone support. In addition, the iPod dock adapter is interchangable but additional adapters are not included. For his size, he is able to travel and will last about 6 hours on single charge. There is also a 3.5mm stereo mini plug audio input for external music sources. There is no word yet on price or any other details according to those behind the design, we should expect it sometime in July. The Julius Dance Machine dedicated site is also currently not giving up any details but just adorable Paul Frank characters dancing. However, with all of Paul Frank’s goodies popping up at the Apple store – I wouldn’t doubt that this one would soon show up there as well.
Update 01/16/11: The Paul Frank Julius Dance Machine iPod Dock is no longer a limited run, and is finally available to purchase at U.S. stores for $99.95.
