RIM Announces BlackBerry Curve 9300 3G with OS 6 For T-Mobile

screenshot_02If you were a T-mobile customer feeling left out in the cold after the BlackBerry Torch 9800 announcement for AT&T last week, finally, there is some light at the end of the tunnel. RIM has announced the BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 for T-Mobile with support for 3G HSDPA. The BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 will initially ship with BlackBerry OS 5 but an update to OS 6 will be available within the next few months. It also looks like the BlackBerry Curve 3G will be available for multiple carriers. Other then that, the hardware itself is nothing new – you have your traditional Curve form-factor with an optical trackpad, GPS and Wi-Fi, a 2 MP camera with zoom and video recording, and a microSD/SDHC slot with support for up to 32 GB memory cards
