3 Netflix iPhone App Finally Arrives, Works on 3G Too

Netflix has got to be one of the most highly anticipated iOS apps, and it has finally been released. The new app is compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch devices running iOS 3.13 and up. Just like with its Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3 counterparts, etc, the app lets Netflix customers stream movies and TV shows right onto their handset and it will work on both 3G and wifi.

Can it buffer an entire show/movie (or multiples) to watch while off-network, for instance during a commercial aircraft flight? That’s the only time I’m interested in watching movies on an iPhone. Now I have to buy the movies and videos from iTunes or rip DVD movies to my iPhone with the ifunia DVD to iPhone converter, or just download videos movies from Hulu, YouTube things like this, then also need to convert with ifunia video conversion tool, u know it get some times to do that, and I don’t want to pay too much on this video/movies enjoying.

Janet – that is a great question and would be a killer feature. But I dont think that is supported in the app, at least not yet. :(
