New HP ENVY 14 Beats Edition Comes with Solo Headphones

Back by popular demand, HP is rolling out a new Beats Edition laptop. This version is the HP Envy 14 Beats Edition laptop (ENVY 14-1160SE). And lucky for us, this time around it’s more affordable, but still just as gorgeous. Also, this new Envy Beats Edition is a 14 incher, instead of the original HP Envy Beats 15 Limited Edition. The system still features the Signature Beats style with a red and black color theme with a red backlit keyboard and it comes with 3 Beats-themed wallpapers. But here is the kicker, for $1,249.99 the laptop comes bundled with a pair of Beats Solo Headphones with ControlTalk! The laptop also comes with a new soft touch matte finish surrounding the keyboard area. And ofcourse, the laptop also features Beats Audio – “a unique high-performance technology developed by HP and Beats by Dr. Dre, for the optimal sound experience”.

  1. Why must they patronize the consumer by saying that the audio was designed by “Dr. Dre”? Do they really thing consumers are moronic enough to believe an idiot has-been rapper is working behind the scenes with engineers to design a better method for delivering high quality audio? I wish they’d ditch the cheap marketing and simply provide a nice laptop with nice audio and well-thought-out design.
