Road conditions change from day to day, hour to hour, so Waze follows suit. The Waze app is a user-modified, user-controlled road map, where drivers can update each other on anything from traffic to accidents to road construction to police checkpoints. Anything that affects the flow (or lack thereof) of traffic will be reflected on this app, once another Waze user takes note of it. The app also provides you with turn-by-turn navigation, free of charge, which isn’t a bad bonus for an already pretty useful app. It might take a little time for Waze to really take off; it’ll only be as good as the amount of people who actually use it. Once people do start to take notice, it could be a fun way to keep yourself up-to-date on traffic around the city.
