The new free Blue Nile App allows users to comparison shop and purchase high-quality diamonds through the convenience of iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. The app also lets you to search for diamonds based on certain specifications, view available diamonds, connect to Blue Nile’s Diamond & Jewelry consultants, and even purchase a diamond through their iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Consumers can also browse thousands of one-of-a-kind engagement rings, top gift ideas, as well as educational materials. Jewelry can be purchased directly from your smartphone. So far, the largest app purchase has been a $250K diamond engagement ring!!

    My favorite aspect of Blue Nile’s iPhone app is the ability to browse items on Blue Nile when I want, in a convenient manner and to be able specify how I want the items listed to me (i.e. by price). Buying jewelery can sometimes be intimidating. Therefore, a pleasant and comfortable shopping experience is key! With the Blue Nile app, I am able to do that.
