A 6.3-magnitude earthquake has struck in Christchurch, New Zealand, leaving 65 dead so far. In an effort to help people find missing relatives and friends, Google has launched a People Finder Tool which offers users two options:
- I’m looking for someone
- I have information about someone
The tool can also be embedded on other sites. You can grab the code to embed it on your site here, or you can add it as a Google Gadget. So far there is about 5100 records inside the People Finder tool.
