Jack Sparrow aka Johnny Depp Becomes a Lifesize LEGO Sculpture

Jack Sparrow is back and hitting the high seas once again in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. However he is getting some new friends and new enemies this time around. So, so long Orlando Bloom and hello Penelope Cruz! At an exclusive event today, Disney unveiled the all new Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides toy line, as well as a life-sized LEGO of Jack Sparrow. The sculpture took about 200 hours to create, is a little over 6 feet tall and was made out of 150,000 LEGO bricks. It’s amazing what LEGO bricks can create and it only did Jack Sparrow justice. In fact I don’t think Johnny Depp ever looked so good. However Johnny wasn’t the only one to get a sculpture in their honor, at the event Ian McShane, who will be starring as Blackbeard, was also presented with a one of a kind figure created by Jakks Pacific.
