We’re giving away the Acer Aspire AS1830 Netbook. This netbook packs in a 11.6″ display along with both WiFi and 3G support on AT&T’s wireless network – this netbook retails for $649.99 without a contract! Why? Well, On The Spot: Johnny Wright’s Quest for the Next Supergroup is a new 22-episode webseries that features legendary music manager Johnny Wright of New Kids on the Block, Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, Britney Spears, Jonas Brothers, etc. and is produced by Cambio and AT&T. On the show, all of the contestants use AT&T smartphones and netbooks to submit content and interact with Johnny. The finalists are now competing in a series of challenges intended to test their superstardom ranging from vocal mastery, personal style, dance moves, and their ability to handle the press. Additionally, home viewers who think they have what it takes to be part of his next supergroup are invited to submit their own challenge videos or a new audition video each week and if a viewer’s video catches Wright’s eye, the home viewer may be chosen to replace an existing contestant at any point in the competition!

    I would love to win this Netbook and 3G service so I could get out more and access the internet from anywhere. As summer approaches the ability to connect anywhere and have the portability of a netbook is a great solution for me. Where before I would have to find a coffee shop for my laptop, now I can go lighter and access the internet from anywhere. With 3G and now 4G the speeds to access the internet will be blazing fast anywhere on the AT&T network.

    I would use this with my kids for homework and other activities – so much of their stuff is web based now, and as we are out and about doing activities for one or the other the benefit of a 3G hook-up are apparent.

    I do not own a laptop/netbook, and I can not always be at a ‘desk’ to work, I would love a Acer to be free of being desk bound.

    If I won the Acer Inspire, I’d do more screenplay writing “on the go”. Right now, I’m confined to writing at home on a desktop.

    If I won I would use it for all of my homework and wouldn’t have to wait on others in the family to be done on the computer to get my homework done.     Acer Aspire AS 1830T is small but powerful Netbook. With core i3 processor and 3 GB RAM power i can use it for some high-def video watching, video editing apart from my regular work like internet surfing, chatting, Radio listing.

    If I had the Acer Aspire AS1830 3G Netbook from AT&T, it would go with me everywhere. To work, to coffee, to soccer, to the beach, to the conferences I attend. It would allow me to have an always on connection to work, family and friends. Type up word documents (especially when I’m working in the field), check email, FB, Twitter and read blogs, enter giveaways. My husband and oldest son would be especially thrilled because they always complain that I hog the desk top computer which is the only computer we have. My husband would use this laptop to check his email, surf the web, and create databases for his business. My son would use it to do his homework, play games, keep up on sports issues, weather and to log into his school account to see what agenda is and communicate with his teacher if needed.     I would use the Acer Aspire from AT&T immediately upon winning. As of today my HP is dead and was told it was going to cost over $800 to fix. No warranty so up a creek without a paddle as the saying goes. I would sure love the opportunity to try a new brand “Acer” and see how it works compared to my previous HP.
