Andy Warhol Becomes LEGO Pop Art

Andy Warhol is in the news quite a bit these days, that you would think he is still alive. He recently had many of his classic pop-art pieces transformed into iPhone 4 and iPad cases. He has also been in the news for his famous Elizabeth Taylor artwork, that may be auctioned off soon. So what’s next for this iconic character? LEGOs of course. Nathan Sawaya aka the Brickartist has transformed his likeness into a portrait of LEGOs for the Spot Gallery in France. The piece required 1500 pieces of LEGOs to create and from the end result, we think Warhol would be pretty impressed.
