BlackBerry PlayBook is Going on Tour and Looking for Groupies

Still not sure if you want to buy a RIM BlackBerry Playbook? Well the BlackBerry Playbook is going on tour like the rockstar that it is, and has kicked off a national mobile tour to showcase its BlackBerry PlayBook to consumers and businesses around the country. The tour will be making one of its first stops tomorrow, Tuesday, May 3rd from 9 AM to 5 PM, at New York’s Herald Square (Broadway and 34th Street).

The PlayBook Mobile Tour is actually housed inside a tractor trailer that is completely outfitted to give users a realtime PlayBook experience. You’ll be able to a watch a video showcasing all the benefits of the tablet and get a hands on at several of the demo stations. You’ll also be able to try out the bridging experience with your BlackBerry. By the time this brainwashing… I mean immersive experience is over… you won’t even know how to spell ‘iPad’ anymore. We are joking of course, but truly, this is certainly an innovative way for BlackBerry to get its PlayBook out to the masses, and who knows – it might just work.
