HP’s first 4G smartphone has landed at AT&T. The new HP Veer 4G is quite the petite smartphone, and is actually the size of a credit card and no thicker than a deck of cards and weighs just 3.63 ounces. The Veer runs on an 800mhz processor and sports a 2.6″ multitouch display, a slide-out QWERT keyboard, Wi-Fi, aGPS, and it comes with 8GB of internal storage. That makes it the smallest HP webOS phone. Plus, it’s also running the latest version of webOS.
The phone will ship on May 15th and will cost $99.99 with a two year contract. At this pricepoint, the Veer might be able to successfully introduce the webOS to more consumers. But, it will also be going to battle with the latest range of competing affordable Android Smartphones. That said, we happen to think it’s really cute.
