Sony’s new VAIO F Series laptop isn’t just a desktop replacement, but it’s also a true entertainment PC. The F series packs in a 16.4″ widescreen display with a full 1080P HD resolution of 1920×1080. That is just the kind of display that will do its built-in Blu-Ray player justice. It also features S-Force Front Surround 3D technology and rich audio sound from Dolby Home Theater v3 to help complete the cinematic experience. Under the hood, the system can be configured with a Quad Core Intel Core i7 processor, a 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M or a 512MB 520M graphics card, and up-to a 750GB hard drive. The laptop can also sports USB 3.0 ports, a backlit keyboard, a HD web camera, and a set of A/V control buttons for navigating through tracks more easily.
Pricing for the VAIO F series begins at $1100 and it is available in a choice of matte black or silver. A special premium white Signature Collection model is also available.
