The super slim Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has finally found its first home in the U.S.A. on a wireless carrier, and it’s with Verizon. The much anticipated tablet will be available at Verizon Wireless within the next few weeks and it will be 4G LTE enabled.
Pricing is going to be $529.99 for the 16GB model with a 2 year contact, and $629.99 for the 32GB model with a two year contract. Unfortunately, that pricing seems a bit too high, especially since you’re forced into getting a contract. The tab will also be available in either Metallica Gray or Glossy White. Preorders become available starting June 8th. And you can sign up for updates here.
Either way, it’s about time the Tab 10.1 landed here. It’s perhaps the most anticipated Honeycomb tablet yet. That is because under the hood it has got a powerful 1Ghz dual core processor, a 1280×800 resolution HD screen, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera, yet it measures just 8.6 millimeters thin.
