E FUN Announces Premium Next7 Android 2.3 Tablet for $299

Not sure what to get dad yet? Well E FUN is releasing the first model of its Nextbook Premium Line – the Next7. The Next7 is a 7″ capacitive touch-screen lightweight tablet running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). The Next 7 comes with built-in WiFi, along with apps like the ASTRO File Manager, OfficeSuite Viewer, SlideME App manager and Kobo eBook Store.

“Our Nextbook Premium 7 Android Tablet is the first in our premium line of sleeker, faster models that can easily be taken and enjoyed anywhere,” said Jason Liszewski, managing director and vice president of sales for E FUN. “The easy-to-use touch-screen and built-in Wi-Fi make it the perfect tablet for the mobile lifestyle of today’s dads. Users can read their favorite book, browse the Internet, watch videos, download applications or listen to music, simply with a light touch or gentle swipe of a finger.”

The Next7 also features a 1 GHz processor, 4GB of memory, an SD card slot, and it comes with 25 pre-loaded books, an MP3/photo viewer, built-in speakers and a G-sensor. But here is the clincher, the Nextbook Next7 Android tablet will be available on June 19 and retail for just $299.99. Is it a quality Android tablets the like of what you can get from HTC or Samsung? We doubt it. But the Next 7 should be a bit more reliable than some Asian knock-off.
