Verizon Offers $10 for 75MB Data Bundle for Basic Phones

Verizon has just announced a new value pack that offers their customers 75 MB of data for just $10 a month. This plan is supposed to be designed for “basic” phones only. But besides for offering Data access, the $10 bundle also includes monthly subscriptions to Mobile Email; VZ Navigator, Verizon Wireless’ audible turn-by-turn navigation application; and Ringback Tones.

This bundle is of-course suitable for just the casual surfer, since it doesn’t take much to use more than 75 MB nowadays. It also looks like this new bundle must be Verizon’s attempt to compete with the $10 data plan that T-Mobile is currently offering, except that T-Mobile’s offer includes 100MB of data for $10.
