zepplin iPhone App of the Week: Stream Community Playlists With the Zeppelin Air App

Unfortunately, this isn’t a dedicated Led Zeppelin app (I know, I was hoping, too). Luckily, the Bowers and Wilkins Zeppelin Air App is still a pretty sweet addition to your iPhone if you have an AirPlay-enabled set of speakers somewhere around the home. Streaming music wirelessly from your iPhone to your speakers using Apple’s AirPlay technology is nothing new, but the Zeppelin App, from Bowers & Wilkins, allows several people who have the app installed to upload their favorite tunes to a community playlist, which is then streamed to the AirPlay speakers. No more having to switch iPhones once everyone at the party tires of one person’s music. Everyone can upload songs from their own libraries, which might be a good or bad thing, depending on your friends. Regardless, it’s a great app and a great idea. Better yet, the Zeppelin Air App is available now on the iTunes App Store for free. Check it out if you have a big party coming up.
