HP TopShot M275 Web-Connected Printer Scans 3D Objects

screenshot 18 HP TopShot M275 Web Connected Printer Scans 3D ObjectsHP is really leading the pack when it comes to the latest in consumer printer technologies. First they rolled out web connected printers with cloud printing, and now they have introduced the HP TopShot Laserjet Pro M275 which is the first web-connected Color Laser MFP with the ability to Scan objects in 3D. The printer uses special HP TopShop Scanning that enables it to capture images of 3D objects which can then be posted directly to the web.

The way the technology works is that the printer captures size separate images of a document, or a 3D object, and produces one exceptional final seamless image from those six images. The printer is designed for small businesses who can really use this sort of capability. Comsumers can even use an app to post the scanned 3D object directly to auction sites.

But besides for the neat, and unusual ability to scan 3D objects, the HP TopShot LaserJet Pro M275 also has support for HP ePrint, as well as AirPrint for wirelessly printing from an iOS device, and it will also work on a wireless network. The printer itself is a multifunction printer that can print up to 17ppm in black and 4 ppm in color.

The printer also packs in a 3.5inch color touchscreen display, using HP smart Install it installs in just a few minutes without a CD, and it is also Energy Star qualified. The HP TopShot Laserjet Pro M275 will be available soon for $399.
