It’s probably the most zen-like visualizer you’ll see around. The Soundala App for the iPad is a music visualizer based on a mandala made up of lotus petals, and is one of the most vibrant things I’ve seen on an iPad yet. The light show keeps proper time with the beat and frequency of the music, and it’s definitely a spectacle you can lose yourself in. The app is completely customizable, too – the light pattern can be set to inverted, spiral, peaks, or trails, and you can toy around with brightness settings.
You have full access to your playlist, and can save customized themes to a certain song and share it with your friends via Facebook or Twitter, or check out themes others have uploaded (which you can download, as well). The Soundala App is available now from the iTunes App Store for $1.99.
