AT&T U-verse Customers Can Now Take Their TV Anywhere

Televisions have gotten progressively smarter, but they still haven’t figured out a solution to an old problem – the TV being tethered to the cable outlet. For AT&T U-verse customers, that problem now has a solution. For $49, plus a $7 monthly rental fee, U-verse subscribers can get a wireless receiver for their television. Anyone with the receiver can move their television around anywhere in range of an electrical outlet for use – the wireless receiver uses your home Wi-Fi network to give your television full functionality, even outside.

If you’re looking to rearrange or redesign your living room, this could be a pretty good deal, too. You don’t have to make all of your decisions centered around the television outlet for once – that could be very well be a first for many.
