flickr Android App of the Week: Snap and Edit Photos With the Flickr Android App

It’s a little surprising that no official Flickr App was available for Android phones already, but the free Flickr Android App has hit now, and looks to be a good addition for photo lovers. You can take pictures using the app itself, and share immediately after taking them. There are also a few other camera settings you can adjust, including flash and auto-shutter focus. Once you’ve shot your photos, you can use one of ten different filters to play around with your pictures. Geotagging is also a go.

You’ll also be able to scroll through all of your photos on one screen, regardless of how many photos you have (hundreds, thousands, doesn’t matter). Unfortunately, as of right now you can’t access your groups from the website using the app, so if that’s a turn-off, you might want to wait for the inevitable upgrades before downloading. The Flickr Android App is available now for free from the Android Market.
