HTC is busy showing of their latest handsets at CTIA Enterprise in San Diego this week, so we finally got the opportunity to play with the HTC Sensation XL with beats audio. This device was announced last week at a big launch party in London, and it is one of HTC and Beats by Dr. Dre’s first smartphone collaborations.
In person, the handset’s construction feels very solid and is all about HTC’s latest unibody design and form-factor – but this time around the handset is complimented by a Beats by Dr. Dre logo on its backside. The Sensation XL’s 4.3″ display is vibrant and sharp and is of course graced with the latest version of HTC Sense. Beats by Dr. Dre is also producing a special pair of in-ear headphones for the Sensation XL. Overall, this looks to be a promising Gingerbread phone, which is why it’s such a shame that HTC tells us that the device won’t leave European shores. That said, they do promise that an HTC with Beats Audio technology will arrive in the U.S.A. soon, it just won’t be the Sensation XL.
We also got to take a look at the HTC Amaze 4G Android phone for T-Mobile which was just announced last week, along with the upcoming HTC Titan Windows Phone 7.5 device for AT&T, and the HTC Radar Windows Phone for T-Mobile. Check out the hands-on gallery below for photos.
