Not one, but six apps are now available for Android tablets running version 3.1 of Honeycomb or later. Adobe Touch Apps is a set of creative apps that combine to create a pretty impressive package for those that produce media. The set includes Adobe Photoshop Touch, Adobe Collage (for moodboards), Adobe Debut (for presenting and reviewing creative work), Adobe Ideas (a sketchpad), Adobe Kuler (for playing around with color schemes), and Adobe Proto (for prototyping websites and mobile apps). All of the apps are created to maximize touch controls on Android tablets, whether you use your finger or a stylus.
Everything you create with the apps can be shared and stored using Adobe Creative Cloud, also recently launched by Adobe. Adobe Creative Cloud is available now for basic cloud storage, but will be adding applications, services, and paid membership features sometime during the first half of 2012. The apps are a little pricey, at $9.99 per app, but Adobe’s traditionally great software for those with the creative touch might be worth the price of admission.
