Guess what tomorrow is? Black Friday!!! I bet you had no idea right?! I mean the advertisements for this extravaganza of a shopping day started when the first leaf turned color this year. So now that Thanksgiving is over and you have given thanks to your family, it’s time to go give the economy some thanks as well.
Even though employees at some big box retailers were pushing back at opening so early on this hectic day, many will still be unlocking their doors to big sales at the crack of dawn. Check out the list below of Black Friday store hours for all the big retailers. Lastly if you decide not to brave the lines, but instead make your purchases online, check out the return policies of some these stores. You know, just in case your big purchase is a big thud this holiday season.
Black Friday Store Hours 2011
Best Buy – Opens at 12am and if you happen to be in NYC, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 will entertaining you as you wait in line at the Union Square location. The movie starts at 9pm. So we suggest you start lining up as soon as you finish dessert.
Walmart – Opens at 10pm with big savings on toys, housewares and clothing. At 12pm is when the magic happens and the selected electronics go on sale.
Target – Doors open at 12am with door-buster deals. Learn about unadvertised deals by texting “MORE TVs” to “Target.”
TOYS ‘R’ US – Doors open at 9pm for door-buster deals.
JCPENNY – Doors opens at 4am.
Macy’s – Deals start at 12am to 1pm on Friday and then 7am to 1pm on Saturday.
P.C. Richard and Son – Doors open at 5am.
Sears – Opens at 4am to 9pm for door-buster sales.
Kmart – Doors open at 5am.
Staples – Doors open at 6am
Radio Shack – Doors open at 5:30am
Return policies for purchases made online
Best Buy – Items returned between Nov. 13 and Jan. 4 will not be penalized by restocking fees.
Walmart – Return or exchange store items with a receipt within 90 days of purchase. However there may be some exclusions if it is an electronic item. So be sure to ask or check the fine print before you purchase.
TOYS ‘R’ US – Purchases made online can be returned by mail within 90 days to their online Returns Center by mail.
Sears – The gift must be in its original packaging with the original receipt or email confirmation, within 90 days of purchase for a refund or exchange. Online returns will be accepted at all Sears stores.
Target – Online purchases are excepted back without hassle at any Target store. Just be sure to have your receipt or you will be given a gift card for the lowest price that particular item was at some point.
