Honeycomb 3.2 Update for HTC Flyer Finally Released

HTC Flyer owners have been impatiently waiting for an update to Honeycomb for months. As far back as September, there were leaks of a Honeycomb update coming up. Three months later, the Honeycomb update for the HTC Flyer is finally rolling out to users OTA.

HTC has confirmed on their Facebook page that today they will be releasing the update that will bring Honeycomb 3.2 with HTC Sense for Tablets to the European 3G GSM version of the HTC Flyer tablet. They also have confirmed that an update for the WiFi version of the HTC Flyer will receive a Honeycomb update soon too. Unfortunately, there is no word on when T-Mobile’s U.S.A.’s 3G version of the Flyer will receive an update.

As exciting as this news is for HTC Flyer users, with Ice Cream Sandwich on the horizon, an update for Honeycomb is almost old news. Regardless, we’re especially excited about this Honeycomb update because it brings HTC Sense for Tablet which features enhanced Internet browsing, Mail, Calendar, and those beautiful HTC Sense widgets that we’re crazy about.
