You may have not picked up a Brisk tea in awhile, but if you are a Star Wars fan, you may just want to now. The beverage brand is kicking off the New Year by joining forces with Star Wars as it releases Episode I: The Phantom Menace in 3-D. Brisk loves to parody pop-culture in a unique way and their take on the Phantom Menace is no different. In fact you may actually like the 30 second spot better than the movie. Besides launching a new commercial campaign, there is also a tie-in with Brisksaber, a mobile gaming app that brings lightsaber battles to smartphones.
Bricksaber will feature content that allows fans to unlock new characters and objects based on codes found on marked packages of one-liter Brisk Iced Tea bottles. The game features 2-D and 3-D elements and invites players to choose their side-the Light Side or the Dark Side. From there you can choose what mode of play you want. You will then battle foes depending on the allegiance you have chosen. Players can share their scores on Facebook and Twitter if they so choose and those with top scores will be shown on the leaderboard on Facebook.com/Brisk. Brisksaber can be downloaded via UncaptheApp.com or in the iTunes Store and Android Market. Now that’s Brisk baby!!
