At Macworld, Doxie has just unveiled the new Doxie Go + Wi-FI. This is essentially the same old Doxie Go, but now it can send your documents to your devices wirelessly. With more and more devices coming with built-in Wi-Fi, Doxie Go+ Wi-Fi seems like a natural evolution, but this is one product that really makes sense to have cut the chords on. Now you can use the device to scan documents sans a PC. The documents will wirelessly sync to your Mac, PC, iPad, iPhone, or even directly to the cloud. The device manages to accomplish this by piggybacking off of an Eye-Fi X2 wireless SD card.

Like with it predecessors, Doxie is perfect for scanning receipts, photos, business cards, reports, and documents on the go. Docs can even be transferred directly to Evernote, Flickr, Dropbox or an FTP account. The device uses ABBYY OCR technology to create searchable PDFs of your documents.

But if there is no Wi-Fi in range, your scans will be stored on the Doxie Go + Wi-Fi until you’re able to connect it to a device via USB or Wi-Fi. The Doxie Go + Wi-Fi will retail for $239.
