Monster, a company with a knack for high-end headphones, has teamed up with Diesel, the self-described lifestyle company, to create the new VEKTR headphones, which were shown off at CES 2012 this week. Exact specs on the headphones are unknown, but since the main draw of VEKTR is the unusual style, you can expect the quality to be on par with Monster’s other high-end offerings. The style is indeed unusual for a set of on-ear headphones, using sharp angles that resemble a diamond-cut pattern with plush ear-cups that keep things comfortable. The color scheme features subtle changes between black, gray, and a brushed aluminum color. The VEKTR headphones should hit stores this quarter, and will retail for about $250.
