Motorola Droid Maxx Lands January 26th at Verizon

DROID RAZR MAXX Motorola H4 web 274x508 Motorola Droid Maxx Lands January 26th at Verizon Back at CES a few weeks ago, Motorola announced the Droid Razr Maxx and now they have announced that it is finally going on sale January 26th at Verizon Wireless. The phone will cost $299 with a 2 year contract.

On the outside the Droid Razr Maxx looks just like the original Droid Razr we reviewed a while back, but on the inside it’s sporting a 3300 mAh battery which should offer up-to 21 hours of talk time on a single charge, or about double of what most current smartphones offer on a single charge. This is an essential upgrade, since the battery life was one of the weakest aspects of the original Droid Razr.

The phone will of course also be a 4G LTE phone and pack in a dual core 1.2 GHz processor, a 4.3-inch Super Amoled Advanced display, an 8MP rear facing camera, and it will come running Android 2.3.5, but it will be upgradeable to Android 4.0.
