iPad App of the Week: Pixlr-o-matic Gives Your Photos a Little Style

iPad and iPhone users can dress up their photos with Pixlr-o-matic, a photo editing app that allows users to add effects, overlays, and borders to pictures in their libraries. You can try your hand at creativity, or, true to the app’s name, choose to randomize the effects, which will automatically pop out a creation for you to approve or disapprove of.

Pixlr-o-matic is available on the iTunes App Store for free. Users can choose to purchase the PLUS upgrade for $2.99, which unlocks all of the app’s effects, borders, and overlays. Alternatively, individual effects outside of what is provided for free can be purchased for $0.99.
