Dell and Intel are busy showing off the new Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook this weekend at the Create.Work.Inspire. event in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This time around, the Dell XPS 13 has been actively used in the creative process of development and production for Japanese band, The Suzan’s new music video. We sat down with graphic designer, Lauren Stec, who has been using the XPS 13 to design and illustrate creatives for the shoot.
Lauren told us that she previously used an iMac, but since getting involved with the project she has actually used the Dell XPS Ultrabook 13 to develop all of the creative that she is providing for the project. In particular she has been using a Bamboo stylus in conjunction with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator on the XPS 13 to create lots of illustrations. Stec told us that the XPS 13 has been handling her graphic design tasks with aplomb and that the transition between platforms for her hasn’t been an issue. The XPS 13 comes configured with both Core i5 or Core i7 processors.
Stec also said that she especially appreciated how lightweight and portable the XPS 13 is and that moving it from room to room has been essential and so easy these last few days. Finally, Lauren also commented on how nice and ergonomic the XPS’s keyboard is to use. Which is certainly a core and important component when producing and creating content.
