2You might see those gold-plated or diamond-studded headphones online and wonder to yourself – who actually buys those and wears them in public? If you really want to know, here’s the answer – Lil’ Wayne and Sky Blue (of LMFAO). The pair Sky Blue wore during his Super Bowl halftime performance is said to be the most expensive to date, created in collaboration by Beats By Dr. Dre and Graff Diamonds, which stuck over 114 carats of diamonds on the pair of white Beats Pro headphones. It’s not clear if the headphones were just a prop used to get attention during such a high profile event but even so, the total value of that particular pair of headphones is likely north of one million dollars. So, that’s cool.
Lil’ Wayne was also seen at the NBA All-Star game over the weekend rocking a diamond-studded pair of white Beats Pro too. Were they the same ones Sky Blue was rocking at the Super Bowl? It could very well be, since the likelihood of Lil’ Wayne affording it is much higher than a member of LMFAO. The value of that pair? Anyone’s guess. Ah, to be rich and able to blow your money on ludicrous diamond covered gadgets.
