TypeWay Will Have You Typing with 10 Fingers on Your iPad

For the most part, touch-typing quickly and efficiently with ten fingers on the native iPad keyboard isn’t practical – a peripheral keyboard is needed. TypeWay might change that. It’s an app for the iPad that alters the keyboard, customizing the layout automatically based on the usage habits of individual users. The app takes into account hand sizes and hand positions and uses that information to shift the keyboard around into whatever is the best fit for the individual.

If you don’t like the idea of your keyboard constantly changing, TypeWay won’t disappoint you. If the app gives you a configuration you like, you can freeze the app, preventing future changes. Toggling between freeze and unfreeze requires a button press. You can also save configurations and revert to a favorite using the restore button.
