HTC Vivid is One of the First Smartphones to Get Android 4.0 Update
The HTC Vivid, one of the first Android smartphones compatible with AT&T’s fledgling 4G LTE network, is one of the first phones on the market to receive an upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The update is available today, and can be accessed from AT&T’s website.
In addition to Ice Cream Sandwich, the upgrade will include the latest version of the Sense UI that will be coming standard with HTC’s upcoming slate of Ice Cream Sandwich smartphones. The new Beats By Dre features of the Sense UI will also be included in that update, giving a boost to audio performance. If you’re an Android smartphone owner, you can probably look forward to a lot of these updates coming your way soon. If you didn’t opt for the Vivid, it’s a good bet your turn will be coming sooner rather than later.
