iPad App of the Week: All Gain, No Pain With Tattoo You

Tattoo You iPad App of the Week: All Gain, No Pain With Tattoo You

If you love the idea of tattoos and squirm at the thought of needles, the perfect app for you is finally here. Tattoo You has a library of over 500 tattoos, including 10 from tattoo artist Corey Miller, that you can add to pictures in your library. You can tat yourself up digitally using a simple drag and drop interface and some editing options to make the finished product look a little more natural and a little less bad MS Paint work.

Once you’ve added the tattoos to people in your photos, you can resize them and erase parts of the tattoo, if you’re trying to hide a part of it under a shirt or hair to make the finished picture look more realistic. You can also flip designs and choose the color of the tattoos. If you want a more personalized touch, you can type in your own text, which will come out in whichever of the available fonts you select.

Downloading Tattoo You nets you 30 free designs and one free font pack. Tattoo packs cost $0.99 each as in-app purchases, or you can purchase all of the packs (which includes tattoos added to the app in the future) for $4.99. Tattoo You is available now on the iTunes App Store for iPad and iPhone for free.
