The Acer Predator AG3620 will sport a 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 3770 processor with an NVIDIA GT630 video card. Add that to 16 GB of RAM and 2 TB of storage space, and this rig is a computer gamer’s dream come true right now.
The Gateway DX4860 won’t pack as much of a punch, but it’ll still prove to offer more than enough for most at a more attractive price. The DX4860 will be powered by a 3.1 GHz Intel Core i5 3450 processor, 6 GB of DDR3 RAM, and feature a 1 TB hard drive. This won’t be the weapon of choice for gamers, though – Intel HD Graphics aren’t going to get the job done well (or at all) for many of today’s AAA titles.
That specific model of the Acer Predator AG3620 will sell for about $1,200, while that model of the Gateway DX4860 will be available for about $700. Both machines will be available sometime in the coming week.
