It’s not too often that someone manages to develop an app that takes a novel approach to anything, much less finding attractions and events. Time to Enjoy manages to carve out its own niche, with an event finder built around your calendar, rather than the events themselves.
Time to Enjoy integrates with the user’s calendar, reading when the user has free time, then displaying local events that best fit the user’s schedule. The app uses current locations, but location can be manually set, which will be handy for planning activities around a business trip. The search radius can be set to as much as 200′ walking or 50 miles driving. Directions to the event venues are integrated with the app, and events can be sorted through and filtered by category.
If desired, users can share their Time to Enjoy calendars with others, so friends can see where other friends are going and tag along. Time to Enjoy is powered by eventful.com, which aggregates millions of events monthly, so there should be no shortage of activities during any time of the day to find on this app.
Time to Enjoy is now available for free on the iTunes App Store for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.
