Unfortunately for him, Kobe Bryant is feeling a little Thunderstruck right now. The Lakers’ quick exit from the Western Conference Semifinals means that he might have just a little bit less motivation to get out of bed in the morning, though to be fair, that’s probably not true. Kobe Bryant doesn’t seem like a man lacking in motivation.
But, should it be an issue, there’s always the Basketball Shooting Clock, the latest in alarm clock technology. And, when I say that, I’m not talking about advanced LCD displays. I’m talking about construction to make sure that the user doesn’t just jam on the snooze button over and over again. When this alarm clock goes off, you’ll have to actually put a small metal ball through the hoop to get it to turn off – the idea being your brief basketball experience will take just long enough to keep you out of bed once you’ve found success.
Of course, the Basketball Shooting Clock is not for everyone. Alarm clocks aren’t good for much when they’re sprawled across the room in multiple pieces. It’s selling now for $25 on watch.brando.com.
