The best parts about the jacket might be how it stops shoulder straps from being a literal and figurative pain in the neck. Epaulets secure the strap, while shoulder pads help to bear the brunt of the weight of the camera. The shoulders also sport tabs that can lock the strap in place, preventing it from tilting and digging into the neck or shoulder.
As for pockets, modular pocket inserts fit inside the main ones, which can hold up to two lenses. As a pretty cool extra, there’s a Micro-Fiber lens and screen cleaning cloth sewn into the jacket that tucks into the inside of the sleeve.
The Manfrotto Pro Field Jacket is selling now for $349, but a $100 mail-in rebate is available with purchase until July 31st.
