The rightful heir to the Iron Throne of the box-set world officially arrives in November. You can now pre-order the Game of Thrones Season One Blu-ray box set, which is slated to ship on November 20th.
The five-disc set includes tons of episode and behind-the-scenes commentary, as well as guides to everything about the story, from the houses to the characters. Especially interesting should be the feature on how the faux language of the Dothraki people was created from the ground up. Oh, right. And the episodes. Those are on there, too.
Also coming with the box set is a 3” tall dragon egg made of resin that you can use as a paperweight. Just don’t be surprised if Daenerys comes knocking on your door looking really impertinent and upset once you get it.
Another bonus for those getting the Blu-ray edition of the box set is a bonus disc that includes episode one of season two, though you have to figure the season two box set can’t really be that far behind.
The Game of Thrones Season One Blu-ray box set is selling for an undead shade under $100.
