Gamer Soaps Scrubs Those Pixels Off of Your Hands
Entering up down up down left right left right A B A B select start won’t get you infinite hot water, unfortunately.
You will be able to get clean using your video game controller of choice, though, thanks to these Gamer Soaps. They cover a broad spectrum of gaming history, from the classic NES, SNES, and Sega Genesis controllers to the more modern PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 controllers. You’ll also be amazed that it’s become possible to make things like novelty soap marketable.
Also, these soaps are vegan friendly according to Firebox (they have the ingredients listed if you’re in doubt), so if you’re living the animal-loving lifestyle, you’re in the clear to get sudsy with the finest that gaming has to offer. Each bar of soap is a full-size replica, which makes me think that 360 controller is going to be uncomfortably bulky in the shower.
The NES and SNES controller soaps are selling for about $16 each, while the Genesis, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 controllers are going for around $21, which, novelty aside, is an awful lot for a bar of soap, especially considering that novelty is going to be literally washed away after a few showers. The Gamer Soaps aren’t available just yet, but, in true gaming tradition, you can pre-order them now. No word on exactly when they will be available.
