Frank Bernardo decided to use the digital advertising signage popping up in malls everywhere to make his proposal memorable. Granted, a wedding proposal using something called Adshop doesn’t exactly have the most romantic ring to it, but hey, whatever works, right? Adshop is an online advertising space store for many locations around Canada. Bernardo chose the Montreal Eaton Centre for his fifteen-second advertisement proposal, to which his now-fiancee, Alison Copeland, said yes.
I guess it’s true – advertising really is permeating every part of our lives. After all, who would have thought we’d ever see a corporate press release for a marriage proposal?
