Cygnett Engima Case for iPad Mini Review
Cygnett’s Engima Case for iPad Mini offers a unique alternative design to the traditional iPad case. This folio-style case has a cover which sports an original folding design that can’t help remind us of folding a paper airplane. That said, the cover offers a fun alternative to the traditional folding style case cover, and it works!
Made of a rubberised cover with a soft touch finish. Plus, with its thin profile back cover, the case itself is one of the lighter iPad Mini cases out there. But despite its thin profile, the front cover is microfibre lined too, making it ideal for keeping your display clean.
Once you fold the cover, the cover of course works as a view stand for the mini. Alternatively, you can fold up the cover the more traditional way and the cover can work as a low angle stand for typing.
Unfortunately, we noticed one “enigma” with the Enigma case and that is that our cover has a little bubble under its material. Despite this minor flaw, we really like the thin and minimalist design of the Enigma and we also love its soft touch finish. The Cygnett Engima Case for iPad Mini is available in a choice of blue, pink and black and it retails for $39.
The Good: Modern design with a unique folding cover design, design is very sleek and lightweight, bold color options, case easily snaps off
The Bad: Pink color picks up some dirt
