The very affordable Discover offers a host of features at a decent price point. It is a 4G LTE smartphone with HD 4.8 inch display at 1280 by 720, and 12.6 megapixel camera with a 4X zoom feature. As well as HD recording capability of 1080p at 30 frames a second. The popular NFC tech is included, which is a near field communication, meaning you can share content read smart tags, or pay for things with it. The audio is a dual 3D surround as well. Business users may find useful the Discover’s full VPN and EAS support, plus device encryption for secure access to corporate email and intranets.
Automatically included is the AT&T DriveMode App that is a helpful preventative to texting while driving. It can be customized to send out replies, much like “out of the office” replies, while driving. It can let all incoming texters, and emailers, and wireless callers know that you are indisposed due to driving. And it can also send all calls automatically to voicemail, while allowing for a user approved allowed caller list. It can also be turned off manually if need be. This should serve as a useful deterrent to the all to tempting desire to fiddle with your phone while driving.
