Lenovo’s booth at CES 2013 was one of the hot places to be this year, as they were showcasing some hot ticket items.
This is what the Surface ( the original Microsoft Surface) should have been, a truly interactive user friendly table PC. Equipped with up to an Intel Core i7 processor, and a NVIDIA GeForce GT 620M graphics processor it runs Windows 8. The 27 inch screen allows multiple users and it’s great for gaming, movies and is designed to fit easily in the home.
Audio is provided by Dolby Home Theater v4, and you get HDMI and USB 3.0 ports, as well. This looks like one serious game changer.
The touchscreen tablet/PC hybrid was 17.2mm thick and the reinforced hinge allows you to easily adjust its position- hence the Yoga moniker. Running Windows 8 it sports a 10 point multi touch screen that’s a joy to play with.
This is a heavy duty power ultrabook convertible. The display is a 1080p IPS panel in 1920 x 1080 resolution, and battery power is 10 hours – 5 hours just as a tablet, with 5 hours added when the display is attached to the base. The Helix weighs in at 3.68 pounds, and NFC and 4G LTE are also packed inside; plus you’ll have HDMI mini, USB 2.0, and USB 3.0 ports.
This is a 13.3” monitor which is a sleek 7.1 mm thick at its thinnest point, and weighs 730 g. It’s designed to be used as an extra touchscreen monitor and is fully loaded to run Windows 8 . It will bring the touchscreen experience to a non touchscreen PC, and can work with any brand (as long as you have the right drivers). We heart this!
