Motorola Droid Razr M Goes Pink and the Samsung ATIV Odyssey Finally Lands at Verizon
As a matter of fact, Valentine’s Day is just what Verizon has in mind for the Motorola Droid Razr M. The Razr M has been out since September, but if you’re still keen on getting one, you can grab a special edition Valentine’s Day pink version as of today. If thinness is a virtue for your Valentine, the slender Razr might be a sound pickup.
Verizon stores are also getting the Samsung ATIV Odyssey. Samsung’s clearly not going as marketing crazy over it as it does with the Galaxy brand, but the ATIV Odyssey looks to be a decent Windows 8 phone, if you’re interested in hopping on the Windows bandwagon. The phone will work with Verizon’s 4G LTE network, and features a 4” 800 x 480 Super AMOLED display, a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, and a 5 MP rear-facing camera. There will also be a 1.2 MP front-facing camera, and expandable storage using a MicroSD card.
The pink Droid Razr M will be on sale for $150, which will get knocked down to $100 after a mail-in rebate. The Samsung ATIV Odyssey looks great for Windows Phone 8 fans on a budget, hitting the market at $100, which will end up being $50 after a mail-in rebate. Both prices will require two-year contracts with purchase.
