4G LTE finally comes to the world of prepaid thanks to Virgin Mobile, which just announced that they have brought in the mid-range Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE.
Virgin Mobile’s Beyond Talk unlimited data and messaging plans start at $35 per month, and do not require a contract. If you’re wondering how Virgin Mobile got an LTE network up, they didn’t – they’ll be using Sprint’s.
The Victory has already been around for a while at Sprint, and features a 4” 800 x 480 display, a 5 MP rear camera, a 1.3 MP front-facing camera, and a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor. It’s not the greatest phone in the world, but you will be able to play around with advanced Samsung goodies like S Beam, so you won’t be totally behind the times.
The Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE is available now through Virgin Mobile, for the unsubsidized cost of about $300.
