Lenovo first showed off their new table PC, the 27” IdeaCentre Horizon, earlier this year at CES, promising an early summer release date. Turns out, we’ll be getting it even earlier than that – the table PC is scheduled to go on sale online on April 16, with units arriving in stores sometime in June.
Not much has changed about the Horizon since its appearance at CES – it’s a 27” all-in-one PC with a hinge that allows it to lay flat, activating a family-friendly Aura mode. Lenovo is trying to push family time as a big selling point – physical objects like dice and joysticks will be included with the PC to encourage playing with special digital board games made for the Horizon. 10-point multi-touch promises to get everyone involved simultaneously. Inside, you’ll find 3rd generation Intel core processors and an NVIDIA graphics processor, just as was shown at CES.
You’ll be able to order the Lenovo IdeaCentre Horizon on April 16 for $1,700.
